The Clinical Skills Centre hosts a number of surgical training courses during the year. Developed and taught by leading Consultants, each course provides in-depth theory and the opportunity to practise a variety of surgical techniques in a modern lab environment.

Aims
This workshop covers the fundamentals principles of laparoscopic operating skills. The workshop provides participants with a unique opportunity to develop procedural skills which are difficult to acquire as a trainee in a busy hospital setting.
Specific Objectives:
On completion of the course participants will be familiar with:

Training Methods
Interactive format, instructional lectures, hands-on workshops under the direction of Faculty Members. Endotrainers, laparoscopic towers, synthetic and animal tissue.
Maximum Participants
The first 12 registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Subsequent registrations will be placed on a waitlist in order of receipt.
